This is a renovated traditional Japanese holiday home featuring a hinoki wood bath, full kitchen, dining room with horigotatsu sunken table, living room area, and more. Guests reserve the entire machiya house for their group, creating an authentic local experience within Takayama’s historic neighborhood.

The renovation preserves traditional machiya architecture while integrating modern amenities. The exterior showcases locally sourced Hida cedar with natural wood grain complemented by traditional lattice work, demonstrating regional craftsmanship.
